Sustainable Finance – Integrating Climate Risks and Sustainability in the Corporate and Finance Sectors
Our current global socio-economic system is facing an existential crisis, global ecosystems are depleted, bio diversity loss is progressing and social gaps are widening as we stand at the dawn of a new decade. The United Nations have set the Sustainable Development Goals in 2015, the global agenda and we know that we have to leave the era of fossile fuels and enter into a renewable and more circular economy in order to prevent the worst. At the Davos Economic Forum this year, climate risk is on the top of the agenda.
We have invited an expert panel to learn and discuss about a new era of finance, sustainable finance/ESG and impact investing. Which role can finance play to accelerate the shift into a more regenerative economy in which we shift our views from a purely financial view point to a more integrated focus in which environmental, social and financial aspects will be safeguarded equally?
Each panelist will have a short presentation and then we enter into the panel discussion which will be followed by a workshop with all participants.
